The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, told reporters that the process of inspecting cars on the Crimean bridge will be accelerated by adding “power and the amount of vehicles”, and traffic jams will not hinder tourists. It has been reported TASS.

“During the holidays there were delays, backlogs of cars, mainly from the Krasnodar Territory. And we will solve this problem in terms of the number of vehicles passing per unit time, and we will increase the amount of manpower and opportunities.”

Aksenov noted that after the completion of the work on the Crimean bridge and the polishing of the procedures, there will be no “traffic jams that may hinder tourists this season”.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the development of Crimea and Sevastopol expression confidence that the restoration of the Crimean bridge after the explosion will be completed on time.

On 8 October, the National Counter-Terrorism Committee reported that a truck was blown up on the Crimean bridge. As a result, seven fuel tanks of the railway train caught fire, two carriage openings partially collapsed, the arch above the navigable part of the bridge was not damaged.
