Elena Vyalbe, President of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), believes that Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), was mistaken in initially diverting Russians from participation in the Paralympic Games.

“Bach announced that we should be at everybody’s house right in the back streets. If this were not the case then the situation might be different now.
The US bombed Yugoslavia – did someone say they weren’t going to the Games? We are saving our people and the country, the next step of which is NATO’s de facto threat of placing weapons on Red Square. A one-goal game always ends badly,” explains Vyalba DEA News.
