Paris Saint-Germain fans are ready to boo Lionel Messi, who was eliminated from the Champions League. This was reported on Twitter by journalist Dani Gil.

“We boo him, he gets a lot from working in the field. We don’t want this to continue,” he said.

The action against Messi will take place on March 19. Today, the Parisians will face Rennes in the 28th round of the French championship.

On 8 March, PSG lost to Bayern Munich (0:2) in the second leg of the 1/8 final of the Champions League and flew out of the tournament overall. The 35-year-old Messi played for 90 minutes in both games.

Last season, the French club lost to Real Madrid at the same stage and was eliminated from the Champions League.

Messi’s contract with PSG expires in the summer of 2023. He has made 22 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 13 assists.

Previously reportedSaudi club Al-Hilal will offer Messi a contract worth £194m per season.
