Amsterdam court resumes investigation into the criminal case of the Moscow “Spartak” attacker Quincy Promes, writes NAME.
The prosecutor had previously asked the Amsterdam court to sentence the football player in red and white to 2 years in prison if he attacked a relative – his cousin.
The court was supposed to make a decision on March 17, but the decision was delayed due to the ongoing investigation.
The 31-year-old actress was previously on trial on suspicion of armed assault and stabbing. The incident occurred in late July 2020.
According to media reports, Promes had an argument with his cousin during the party and stabbed him. On December 13, 2020, the football player was arrested, and on December 15, it was announced that he was released, but in the status of a suspect.
Promes has been playing for Spartak since February 2021. This is his second time to the team. He played for the Red and Whites from 2014 to 2018. In the 2016/17 season, the Dutch became the champion of Russia as part of the team.
