From March 15, the Ministry of Digital Development is launching the remote issuance of a fan card (Fan ID), which gives the right to participate in matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL). official site ministries.

“Those who want to buy a fan card will be able to do it remotely. The service will launch in pilot mode on March 15. “You no longer need to visit the MFC to verify your identity,” the ministry said in a statement.

Along with a ten-year passport, you can issue a Fan ID remotely using biometrics from the Unified Biometric System (UBS). Since March 15, you can biometrically verify your identity from a computer through the Government Services portal, for which a camera and a microphone will be required. Also, a fan card can still be issued in the MFC.

The fan card is valid in the top league of the Russian Football Championship from the 2022/23 season. In the autumn part of the season, Fan ID served in the stadiums of five RPL clubs – Rostov, Ural (Yekaterinburg), Sochi, Samara Krylya Sovetov and Pari Nizhny Novgorod. From 1 December 2022, the fan card law comes into effect in all 16 arenas of RPL clubs. According to the Ministry of Digital Development, 550,000 people have already registered Fan IDs in Russia.
