We take a look at the most painful qualifying rounds for Mexican clubs in Concacaf.
The Mexican teams are the great protagonists of the conca champions along its history. Proof of this is that the top five winners of the competition come from Mexico and also that from 2006 to 2021 all champions from the MX competition.
Within this tournament, just as there have been good episodes, there have also been painful eliminations in which the national teams could not emerge victorious from a series.
For the 2023 edition, the Atlas is about to join this group of teams that have been unable to recover from a significant deficit or have been unable to stage a comeback, advance to the next round or win a final.
