Alicante College of Economists will celebrate its second year. Economist Awards – Established in 2019 on the occasion of its 40th Anniversary – Established to recognize the work, efforts and course of both public and private individuals, companies and organizations in favor of the growth and economic development of Spain and its province. Especially Alicante.
At the Gala, which will be hosted by the Teatro Principal de Alicante, economists will present a total of six awards given to them in this edition. Central Rural Fundl, in the category for recognizing the Entrepreneurship Trajectory, digital zone For Promotion of Innovation, Riegos de Levante Winner of the Sustainability Award Murcia Official College of Economistswho will collect the prize for the Promotion of Economic Knowledge, Red Cross It will be recognized for its Social Responsibility and finally, AIReF President, Cristina Herrero SánchezIt will win the Economic and Social Compliance Award.
Francisco Menargues, Dean of the Alicante College of Economists, “The reason why these awards are given is that we, the economists, are called the locomotive of progress and that the people and organizations that direct the economic growth of our country are awarded. Brave people, dedicated companies and entrepreneurs, sensible and at the same time courageous and innovative institutions whose work contributes to the economic and social development of Spain”.
With this profession, the Economists Awards were born, in its first edition recognizing Banco Sabadell, University of Alicante and Miguel Hernandez Elche University, Ecisa, Chamber of Commerce, Balearia, EUIPO and Diocesan Foundation.
The 2023 Economists Awards Gala will be attended by Valentín Pich, President of the Spanish General Council of Economists, as well as a wide representation of businessmen and corporate representatives, as well as a performance by renowned mentalist Tony Bright.
The Economists Awards are held twice a year, but the pandemic has caused a hiatus from its first edition, which will end at 20:00 on 30 March at the Director in Alicante.
