“FIFA does not communicate, does not help in any way. Ok, you buy football players here, but then deal with the debts. Go to the clubs we owe, talk to them, clear the debts. FIFA chose the policy of completely ignoring Ukrainian football.
“Next week, we will file an application with the European Commission for violating FIFA Europe’s antitrust laws.”
On 21 June last year, FIFA issued a press release stating that foreign players and coaches will have the right to suspend their contracts with Russian and Ukrainian clubs until 30 June 2023.
Let us remind you that Shakhtar Donetsk filed a lawsuit with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Ukrainians were dissatisfied with the FIFA decision, which allowed foreign players to unilaterally suspend their contracts.
