Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson has taken the chance to hold his third fight with Alexander Emelianenko.
“I think (organizer) Vladimir Khryunov is waiting for my challenge Monday to make sure I’m okay. Three months ago, I had an operation that fixed a problem that had been bothering me for a long time. Now I feel great.

The first encounter between the fighters took place in 2012, after which Monson, who broke the resistance of the Russians with a suffocating grip in the second round, turned out to be stronger.
The second fight took place in February 2022 with bare fists – Emelianenko won by unanimous decision.
On March 13, Monson will fight Artur Vardanyan within the framework of boxing rules.
