Malkin’s transfer helped Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia in NHL game

The regular season game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League (NHL) has come to an end. The match, which was held at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, ended with the home team’s 5-1 victory.

Penguins forward Rickard Raquell led the score six minutes into the first period. A few minutes later, guest striker Kieffer Bellows equalized. In the seventh minute of the second twenty-minute period, Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby won the majority and put his team ahead. At the end of the match, Penguins forward Jason Zucker scored his team’s third goal. He was supported by Russian forward Evgeni Malkin. Pittsburgh scored two more goals into an empty net. Jake Gunzel and Mikael Granlund stepped forward.

Thus, Pittsburgh ranks seventh in the NHL Eastern Conference standings with 76 points. Philadelphia is in 14th place with 59 points.
