Russian national team and Dynamo Moscow forward Fyodor Smolov has been invited to audition for Mosfilm, the Russian adaptation of the popular Turkish TV series Knock on My Door. This was reported by Ivan Karpov, an insider. telegraph channel.

According to the source, in January Smolov received an invitation to star in the series, but had to decline this option. Examples for the role took place at the Dinamo training camp in Turkey.

In January last year, Smolov signed a contract with Dynamo. He is a member of the club. The player made his debut for the blue-whites at the Russian Championship in 2007. The previous club of the striker was the capital’s Lokomotiv. Together with the team, he became the silver and bronze medalist of the Russian championship, twice the winner of the national cup and the winner of the Russian Super Cup.

Smolov took part in 16 games with his team in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season. The forward scored seven goals (from three penalty spots) and provided two assists.
