Ukrainian football club “Kryvbas” made a statement regarding the status of the Joma brand.
Remember, St. Petersburg “Zenith” previously presented a new form with the Joma logo. Then the Football Federation of Ukraine (UAF) requested Statements from the Spanish company about the appearance of the logo of the Russian club on the new jersey.
The discovery that Joma is collaborating with a club representing Russia came as an unpleasant surprise for us and for the entire football community of Ukraine.
There was a similar situation with another club before, but later the representatives of the brand assured that there was no official contract. Then the equipment itself was simple and bought in other countries, but this time the situation looks completely different.
We have made an official request to the representative of Joma in Ukraine and we expect a clear position from them and the complete exit of the company from the Russian market. During the assessment of the situation, FC Kryvbas suspends all contractual advertising obligations.
At the moment “Kryvbas” takes sixth place in the chart of the Ukrainian championship.
Previously reported football club “Karpaty” refused from collaboration with Joma due to the company’s affiliation with Zenit.
