Why there is no double value of away goals in the 2023 Copa del Rey semi-finals
The semi-finals will be two-legged, but just like last season there will be no double value of away goals. This has been decided by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, which explains in its regulations that if the teams score the same number of goals in the 180 minutes of the semi-finals, the tie will be decided in extra time and, if necessary, in penalty kicksregardless of the number of away goals scored.
