Olympic champion in women’s singles, Pyeongchang Alina Zagitova shared her feelings from her first experience as a DJ.
“Always trying new things is my motto in life! Thanks to Lokomotiv’s invitation, he had the opportunity to try a new role as a DJ. It was so good!” – Zagitova wrote to him telegraph channel.
The figure skater performed in Cherkizovo before the quarter-final match of the Russian Cup (0:1) between Lokomotiv and Spartak.
Zagitova became the Olympic champion at the Games in Pyeongchang, Korea in 2018. In addition to the victory at the Olympic Games-2018, the athlete won silver of the Games in team competitions, as well as victories in the Russian, European, world championships and the Grand Prix final.
In December 2019, Zagitova announced a hiatus from her sports career and has not competed since.
Earlier, the Estonian Parliament called for a ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
