Guberniev urges FFKKR to take Plushenko’s statement on refereeing seriously

Commentator Dmitry Guberniev urged the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) to take the statement of two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko as seriously as possible.

Previously, Plushenko, who now works as a coach, expressed his dissatisfaction with the refereeing of women’s singles competitions at the junior championship in Perm, and also threatened to leave his students for the national teams of other countries.

“The Russian Figure Skating Federation should listen to Plushenko’s words. Serious accusations were made. Currently, citizenship is changed because it is not accepted for international competitions, but they can start here because of refereeing.
