The Europa League is already with us. The 2022/23 season will be the 52nd season of this club competition, the 14th since the switch from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League and the second since the introduction of the new format. It started on August 4, 2022 and will run until the final on May 31, 2023.

When is the Europa League knockout stage?

  • Play-off knockout round: February 16 and 23
  • Round of 16: March 9 and 16, 2023
  • Quarterfinals: April 13 and 20, 2023
  • Semifinals: 11 and 18 May 2023
  • End: May 31, 2023

The matches are generally played on Thursdays (except for the final) and are in principle evenly divided over two time slots: 6:45 PM and 9:00 PM.

Where is the 2023 UEFA Europa League Final?

Budapest will host its first major European men’s final, as the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League Final will take place at the Puskás Aréna. The venue was originally slated to host the 2022 final, but in June 2020 it was agreed that the Puskás Aréna would host the 2023 final.
