Legendary Czech hockey goalkeeper Dominik Hasek has criticized the National Hockey League (NHL), Professional Tennis Players Association (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) for allowing Russians to participate in tournaments under his auspices.

“There are millions of people around the world who are upset that the NHL, WTA and ATP continue to allow Russian athletes and thereby support special military operations in Ukraine. All of them will have to pay the price of supporting Russia,” Hasek wrote.

It should be noted that at the end of February, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) addressed the international sports federations and recommended that local and Belarusian athletes not participate in any competitions.

After that, various international sports organizations began to exclude Russian athletes from competitions. According to the IOC President, the suspension period is still open.

Russians continue their speeches in the organizations listed above. Local tennis players are deprived of flags and anthems.

Formerly Irina Rodnina Said Russian sport will return to Europe in 2024.
