Kuznetsov’s goal and Ovechkin’s double assist brought Washington a victory over Ottawa

The Washington Capitals defeated the Ottawa Senators in a National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game.

The meeting took place at the Canadian Tire Center stadium in Ottawa. As the teams could not determine the winner in regular time, all three halves ended 2-2. In overtime the Capitals were stronger, Markus Johansson scored the winning goal.

Russian Capitals striker Alexander Ovechkin scored two points in this fight and twice assisted his partners: Evgeny Kuznetsov and Sonny Milano, helping to distinguish.

Evgeny Kuznetsov also scored two points as well as scoring an assist: He helped Johansson score, whose goal brought victory to Washington. The Russian defender of the winners, Dmitry Orlov, assisted.

It was previously reported that Ovechkin caught Daniel Sedin for the most assists in his entire career in the National Hockey League.
