Four and a half years later, the 2022 World Cup will finally be held in Qatar. The football planet is paralyzed for the World Cup event in this sport’s most prestigious tournament in a long career where only 32 teams have reached it and where only one team will win the world title.

As usual this one 32 teams are divided into eight groups, from A to Hwith the first two of each going to the knockout stages of the round of 16.

Of course the duels are of eighth looking for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the Grand final is played in one match in the different locations of the host country, Qatar.

Are there extra times or penalties in case of a draw?

The answer is yes. That is, in the event that there was no winner in the 90 regulation minutes the game continues for another 30 minutes of extra time, divided into two parts of fifteen minutes each and without there being a golden goal for which it ends as soon as a goal is scored.

As usual, If, in the event that after playing those 30 minutes of extra time, the tie was not reversed, the penalty kicks will be taken to find out which team will make it through the round or be declared the champion.
