Farewell to Valery Shadrin, General Director of the Chekhov International Theater Festival, President of the International Confederation of Theater Unions, will take place at the theater. Moscow City Council, December 5. It has been reported TASS referring to the press service of the festival.
“December 5 from 11:00 to 12:30 will say goodbye to Valery Shadrin at the Theater. Moscow City Council. The press service said that flowers and wreaths can be delivered between 9:00 and 10:30.
The interlocutor of the agency noted that the burial will be held at the Temple of the Great Ascension at 13:00, and at 15:00 the burial will begin at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
Previously reportedShadrin died at the age of 84 after a long illness.
Shadrin became the owner of many domestic and foreign awards – his merits were noted in China, Japan, England and other countries. In France, Shadrin was awarded a knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, the Order “Officer of the Academic Palm Branch” and the Legion of Honor.
