The Dimayor confirmed the dates and championship system for the second semester competition.
The Dimayor in the last League Council, held on June 9, defined the system by which the second part of the 2022 season will be played, both in the League BetPlay Dimayor, as in the other official competitions, such as the Tournament and the Cup.
The First Division championship maintained the structure of the 2022-I League with the regular phase plus quadrangulars and final, featuring the same 20 teams.
The ball rolls on the weekend of June 10 and runs through November 30a cross with the dates of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, when the second champion of the year will be known.

FORMAT
The Dimayor established that for the second semester, the same system of the first championship will be used: 20 dates will be played, including one of the classics, in the first stage with 20 teams and the Quadrangular semi-final with the eight best to later qualify for the determine finalists.
Phase I – All against All (20 teams)

Phase II – Home Runs
- 6 Dates – (Return Matches)
- The 8 classified are divided into two groups
- The best of each group will advance to the Grand Final
Phase III – Final
- 2 Dates – (Return Matches)
- Foursquare Winner 1 and Foursquare Winner 2
- Local in the 2nd leg, the club with the highest score in the semester’s reclassification table. (sum of points obtained in Phase I + Phase II)
* Two clubs are relegated at the end of the year to play the BetPlay DIMAYOR 2023 tournament.
