Newspaper Los Angeles Times chose Spanish Pau Gasol As the 12th best player in Los Angeles Lakers history.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the purple and gold franchise, the Los Angeles newspaper has released a special edition this week featuring a list of the best players to have played for the Lakers. Gasol ranked 12th on this list.
“East future Hall of Fame helped the Lakers return to championship form with three NBA Finals NBA consecutive and headlines in 2009 and 2010,” the Los Angeles Times said of Gasol.
The Spaniard has formed a great partnership with the late Kobe Bryant on and off the court, and his jersey will be retired by the Lakers on March 7, 2023.
