A description of the first case of serious problems with the GeForce RTX 4090 video card appeared on the network. On the Reddit forum, a user nicknamed reggie_gakil posted photos showing a fused 12VHPWR (12+4-pin) power connector, used in new cards. The same one was installed in his map of GIGABYTE.

It is not yet clear what the reason was. The owner himself suspects that the power adapter was faulty, although he used his own 12VHPWR 4-pin 8-pin adapter. This adapter came with the video card.
