Researchers highlight IVF expansion across regions
The minister of Finance and Economic Model, Arcadi España, stated today that for the first time in history, IVF has become a global reality. In the Valencian Community, financing operations were recorded in 31 of 34 counties in the fourth quarter of 2022, marking a notable milestone. Special attention was drawn to the IVF director, Manuel Illueca, whose leadership has significantly boosted the uptake of the latest lines, with 68 operations totaling 11.6 million euros recorded in the l’Alacantí region over the last three months; del Baix Vinalopò, including Marina Baixa, saw 35 operations worth 21.08 million euros, and 11.8 million euros in another area despite 17 operations earlier in the period.
To broaden its regional presence, the Generalitat plans to open a permanent IVF office in the Digital Zone in the coming weeks. The goal is to promote digitalization, innovation and entrepreneurship in a province with high industrial and business potential.
People’s Bank
Data underline the pivotal role of the Generalitat Valenciana’s public bank, now serving as a financing instrument for the broader business landscape. After a meeting with Manuel Illueca, the Treasury official confirmed that since October 1, and due to the lack of a final closing on December 31, approximately 1,110 financing operations had been received, totaling 325 million euros.
Arcadi España described the evolution of IVF and its exponential growth as highly positive. The minister noted not only the high transaction volume but also how the geographic distribution of requests reflects a firm commitment to bringing aid and financing closer to all companies in the Community, large or small, regardless of location or needs.
He emphasized that, despite historical data, the IVF project will continue to support all self-employed individuals and companies in the l’Alt Millars, Rincón de Ademúz and Canal de Navarrés regions. The aim is to help secure liquidity and provide essential support to undertake investments, particularly during challenging economic times, with a view to expanding resources for small firms.
Generalitat allocates funds to Christmas industries
The Generalitat highlighted that its main objective is to transform IVF into a real financial tool that complements private banking and ensures financial resources reach Valencian companies when needed most. This approach intends to widen the scope of activities and optimize outcomes across the region, with gratitude extended to the IVF team for their ongoing work in channeling public resources to all strata of Valencian society.
In Castellón, a total of 241 financing operations amounting to 101.45 million euros were recorded. Plana Alta stood out due to ceramics industry activity and high industrial growth, with 126 requests for working capital and investments up to 37 million euros. Plana Baixa saw demand reaching 45.4 million euros.
Increased activity
Valencia state activity continues to rise, with a total of 156.8 million euros requested. The metropolitan area saw 222 applications totaling 38.6 million euros, while l’Horta Sud and Nord accounted for more than 43 million euros. The IVF director urged ongoing cooperation with local authorities to ensure that all companies know they have access to the administration’s support. A regional analysis is planned to identify the specific needs of each area and tailor financing channels accordingly.
The goal for the coming years is clear: all companies and freelancers should know that Generalitat, alongside financial institutions, has channels available to secure business growth and investments that boost profitability.
