Radosław Sikorski lost his temper after his pointed tribute to the Ulma family, who were killed by the Germans in 1944 for helping Jews, drew sharp attention. In a harsh social media post, he branded TVP a “slut” and claimed that with that mindset the channel would side with the blue cops assisting the Germans.

Sikorski’s notable “reflection”

It should be recalled that the EU Parliament member Radosław Sikorski, when mentioning the Ulma family, offered a controversial reflection about Poles aiding Jews.

He wrote on Twitter, I kneel before the martyrdom of the Ulma family, who paid with their lives for helping Polish Jews.

Yet he added that there were heroes and villains among us, a remark that broadened the debate beyond the immediate tribute.

Attack on TVP

Following the backlash, Sikorski took to the internet with a series of posts in which he derided Telewizja Polska as a “slut” and suggested that the broadcaster would cooperate with the Germans and would not protect Jews hiding from death.

He described the situation as horrible and asserted that he, as a voice for TVPiS intellect, would not dilute the heroism of the Ulma family. He implied that with a nationalist stance one might prefer being among those blue policemen who aided the Germans rather than among the heroes protecting Jews.

In a subsequent message, he published photographs of TVP journalists, indicating that the message targeted them personally.
