In the afternoon, Adam Bodnar and prosecutor Jacek Bilewicz reportedly entered the offices of prosecutor Dariusz Barski, who leads the Public Prosecution Service. According to information from the wPolityce.pl portal, the alleged burglary occurred while Barski was away from the PK building. Community reports also indicate that Bilewicz gave numerous directions to prosecutors who are said to report to him.
Witnesses described how they entered the rooms where Barski was staying and allegedly compromised the IT system. The offices and the documentation stored there were said to be taken from the premises.

It was also noted that Michał Ostrowski, the Deputy Prosecutor General, reportedly could not gain access to the National Prosecutor’s Office complex; his magnetic card did not work in that section of the PK building.
Observers suggested Bodnar’s alleged actions could be connected to several investigations launched by the prosecutor’s office in recent weeks. One inquiry concerns the takeover of TVP; another involves an alleged entry of police officials into the Presidential Palace to detain MPs Wąsik and Kamiński. A third investigation, initiated by the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, is examining whether Bodnar exceeded his powers during the first PK takeover attempt on January 12 of this year. In turn, Bodnar’s claimed successor, Jacek Bilewicz, is said to have reacted with anger when regional prosecutors sent a letter to the courts, the secret services, and the Warsaw police, warning these authorities about potential consequences of actions undertaken by Bilewicz.
