As part of the “Friendly Housing Estate” initiative, residents in residential districts will see upgrades to outdated installations, the creation of new parking areas, enhancements to green spaces, and the installation of solar photovoltaic systems. The plan aims to raise living standards for households, a goal highlighted by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his visit to Przasnysz.

The Prime Minister toured the local housing area in Przasnysz, meeting with residents and outlining government data showing that eight to eleven million people in Poland live in prefabricated housing estates. He stressed that a dedicated “Friendly Housing Estates” program has been designed to address their needs.

The program will address several priorities: where water, gas, and electricity infrastructure is outdated and prone to failures, a dedicated funding pool will support renovations in cooperation with housing cooperatives or, in the case of community housing, enable collective work. In many of these areas there is a shortage of parking, so new surface or above-ground parking facilities will be proposed.

– the Prime Minister stated.

He also spoke about creating more green spaces within the program and methods to reduce energy bills for residents through photovoltaics and thermal modernization. He noted that the “Clean Air” initiative has already lowered heating costs for many Polish homes, and he expressed a desire to replicate those savings in prefabricated neighborhoods.

– he affirmed.

It should not be that some settlements fare worse than others, that there is a notion of a two-tier Poland, or that people in any corner of the country feel forgotten.

– the Prime Minister emphasized. He stated that the goal of his party is to balance development efforts across the nation and to improve the quality of life for all Poles.

Lower unemployment and development

In the past, unemployment was high, and now job opportunities are rising. New positions are being created, investors are being drawn from around the world, and the country is building favorable conditions for Polish entrepreneurs.

The head of government visited the Melvit company in Kruki, located in the Ostrołęka district. He underlined that the government focuses on fostering employment by attracting global investment and by creating strong economic conditions for local companies.

To ensure that economic growth supports Polish businesses, a major investment program is underway across special economic zones, varied facilities, road projects, land development, and tax incentives.

– Morawiecki noted.

Unemployment had surged under previous administrations, yet today Poland enjoys one of the lowest jobless rates in the European Union as employment rises and new ventures take root. He affirmed that if re-elected, the strategic investment plan in economic zones near smaller and mid-sized cities would continue.

Thus, opportunities would expand not only in major hubs like Warsaw, Krakow, Poznań, or Wrocław, but also in Ostrołęka, Siedlce, Węgrów, Łochów, Zambrów, and hundreds of other towns across the country.
