In a parallel shift, four Ciudadanos members from the current administration Row have stepped away to join Francisco Sánchez’s new lineup. Loles Esteve, Cristina Juan, Patricia Frade and Francisco Javier Pérez resign their parliamentary roles to join the fresh, surprising list. Esteve, who oversees the Shoe Museum, has secured third place on the Elda Popular Party list.

Esteve is a current councilor with a background in economics. Since 2017 she has led the Shoe Museum, and prior to that she spent a decade as an assistant finance director on the equity derivatives board. Her career includes additional roles at other firms until six years ago when she joined the private foundation associated with the Shoe Museum.

Paco Sánchez Leaves Cs and Heads PP for Elda Mayor

During the list presentation Sánchez described the group as composed of devoted, highly capable individuals. The profiles highlighted include experts in urban planning, education, health, and engineering, all essential to the needs of public life in Elda.

He added that voters will assess not just the names but the capabilities and resources these candidates bring to public service. The emphasis is on what each person can contribute to the city council and the daily life of residents.

In a visual wrap-up of the event, a note stated that the Elda People’s Party information was part of the presentation of the election list.

Additionally, the slate closes with Pepe Cremades, a veteran Eldense political figure and former senator from Alianza Popular. The party frames this move as a way to engage the broader base and reassure supporters that the entire organization is pulling in the same direction.
