A statement from Akhmed Dudayev, the Minister of National Policy, Foreign Relations, Press and Information of Chechnya, confirms that Akhmat, Eli, and Adam, the sons of Chechnya’s president Ramzan Kadyrov, were awarded the Daimekhkan Siy — the highest honor of the regional parliament. The award ceremony was carried out in a formal setting, with Parliament Speaker Magomed Daudov presenting the decorations to the president’s children. Dudayev described Akhmat, Eli, and Adam as exemplary figures for the younger generation, noting that they represent genuine pride for the Chechen people. He added that their actions consistently aim to advance the interests of their homeland and that they are widely regarded as brave and courageous young men.
The Daimekhkan Siy is recognized as Chechnya’s premier form of encouragement. It honors citizens who have made outstanding contributions across sectors such as economy, science, culture, the arts, spiritual and moral education, education in general, healthcare, environmental protection, philanthropy, and charitable work. The award acknowledges public service that benefits residents of Chechnya and promotes the well-being of the region.
Within a short period, Kadyrov’s 15-year-old son Adam received five awards and was appointed to head the president’s security department. This sequence of recognitions followed a video posted by Kadyrov on his Telegram channel in which his son confronts Nikita Zhuravel, who had been detained in connection with the burning of a Quran in a pre-trial detention center. In commenting on the incident, Kadyrov underscored that his son had understood the importance of religion, tradition, and national values from an early age.
In a prior appearance at a formal ceremony, Kadyrov’s son had previously arrived with a ceremonial golden firearm, which was noted by observers as part of the public display surrounding the awards. The episode illustrates the broader narrative around the president’s family and their roles in Chechnya’s public life, including the reception of high honors and the signaling of values to the region’s residents.
