By reducing energy consumption by about 60 percent and replacing fossil fuels with aerothermal energy, supported by solar photovoltaic installations, the facility aims to minimize its environmental footprint. The pool shell will receive insulation upgrades alongside improvements to the building envelope, including roof, windows, and related carpentry, to lower the heating and cooling demands.
Access improvements will also be included, such as creating accessible locker rooms for children and installing a hydraulic lift for the indoor pool used by gym and multi-purpose spaces. A ramp will be added to the outdoor pool area, and a class reservation and shift management system will be introduced to improve overall control and user experience for programs and services offered within the facility.
