List of Alicante Citizens candidates for 28-M
Alicante witnessed the public unveiling of the list headed by the orange party with Adrian Santos Perez at the forefront. He was accompanied by Lourdes Tárraga, César Anca, Begoña Deltell, Andrés Guirao, and Ramón Martínez, as the group announced the remaining names of the slate. The event marked the official presentation of the full candidate lineup for the upcoming elections.
The roster includes 29 candidates who completed the list, among them Ramón Martínez Botella, Virginia Albero Entrialgo, Juan Alcaraz Belijar, Maite Grau Albors, Salvador Jover Llácer, and Alba Escudero Madrid. New names appeared as well, including Deputy Rosa Menor Lucas and María José Molina Martínez, a former councilor now serving as an advisor to Alicante City Council. The final addition to the slate is José Luis Berenguer Serrano, who previously led sports initiatives as head of the mayoral team and served as a councilor under Pérez.
It was noted that the list does not account for all Ciudadanos councilors at the Ayuntamiento. Not appearing on the slate were Deputy Mayor Mari Carmen Sánchez, Antonio Manresa, and María Conejero, who have declared they will not seek another term with the orange party. The slate also featured two independents who had topped the list the previous month. Lourdes Tárraga Muñoz, a banker from Alicante, has been highlighted for her experience in the festival sector and previously chaired the presidency of the Fogueres federation. She also served as a delegate to the presidency of the Fogueres de Alicante festival.
Another independent addition is a hotelier who has become the head of the CBRT, along with the president of the Alicante Restaurant Association (ARA). The team therefore blends political experience with business and civic leadership from Alicante and surrounding areas.
