Former Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin became the representative of President Chełm Jakub Banaszek. The Steward of the City announced the effort of Gowin in social media.

Jarosław Gowin withdrew from political life at the end of 2022. At that moment he revealed that he was struggling with depression. He previously conflicted with Jarosław Kaczyński with regard to the organization of the Sun -driven presidential envelope elections during the Pandemic period.
