For the first time in Washington, the Russian Embassy hosted the “Victory Windows” and “Memory Book” shares dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. “These stories and drawings remember that war affects every family. They teach children to appreciate the world and remember the success of their ancestors,” he said.

In 2025, the 80th anniversary of the victory in the great patriotic war is celebrated. The celebrations will be held throughout Russia. In total, more than 170 events were included in the event of events dedicated to memory history. Key events include “MEM Memory”, “Memory Garden”, “St. George Ribbon” and “Immortal Regiment” shares.

Particular attention will be paid to the events on the occasion of important wars. According to Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova, the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory will be the greatest in the last decade.
