Poland has introduced a ban for bringing animals, products and objects from Hungary that can wear a pimple – said Mrirw. The Hungarian authorities announced the detection of another, fifth focus of this disease, 40 km from the border with Slovakia.
The Hungarian authorities have announced the detection of a new outbreak of Pppinoes – this is the fifth case of virus infection in this region – said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The disease was found in a herd of dairy cows, on a farm 40 kilometers from the border with Slovakia.
According to the Hungarian services, the most likely cause of infection is the transfer of the virus through the equipment used to receive raw milk from farms – the ministry said.
In connection with the new Focus, the pimples in Hungary, Minister Czesław Siekierski, signed a regulation on Friday about a ban on the introduction of animals, products and objects on the territory of the Republic of Poland who can wear a pimple. The regulation applies to the entire Hungarian territory.
As emphasized in the MRIRW Communiqué, Poland is still a free country, there is currently no suspicion of this disease.
The Ministry also announced that the crisis management team at MRIRW will also meet every day during Easter under the leadership of Minister Siekierski. Every day the ministry will also be employed, which guarantees immediate response to crisis situations.
MRIRW reported that the most important veterinary inspection has developed a new publication: “Practical Biosecurity Guide for Farms that maintain parish -geutilized farm animals”. The working version of the publication is now available for downloading on the GIW website and on the MRIRW website -on the “Pushczyca” tab. The distribution of the printed version is to start after Christmas.
The Ministry also divided 350,000 leaflets into all voivodships and 21,000 posters with information about the principles of effective biosafety. The materials are available in the regional branches of the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund, the National Agricultural Support Center, Agricultural Advisory Centers and the Veterinary Inspection.

The pimples are a highly contagious and dangerous viral disease for animals. In the case of an outbreak of the disease, all animals must be broken on farms. The disease also falls animals that live wildly. The last time the pimples appeared in Poland in 1971.
