“Poland will be great or it will not be at all”- these words from Marshal Piłsudski have never been as relevant in history as at the moment. When in the years 1918-1921 we fought for the form of the Second Polish Republic (including in the reviving state of Pommerania, Greater Polen, Silesia and the eastern countries with Vilnius and Lviv), this thought referred to the commissioning of both nations of more than 900,000. Km2.
Nowadays they do not apply to the territorial, but the economic, political and intellectual power of the country, and the accurate reading of global and European development trends in the perspective of 20-50 years. To survive and see the threats of the modern world, we must be strongly economic, military and cultural. In the discussion, or rather the political dispute, we are currently dealing with two visions.
The first, presented by the right camp, is the vision of Józef Piłsudski adapted to the reality of the 21st century. The implementation of it was started by President Lech Kaczyński, and the continuators are conservative and correct circles, who want Poles to become the leader of Central -Europe and plays a role that is comparable to that in the 15th and 16th centuries. To achieve this goal, dynamic economic development is necessary (which is used by the construction of CPK, nuclear energy, maritime transport and a strong agricultural sector) and activities that integrate the states and society of our region (incl. In the project of the three seas and cooperation in the field of economy and culture). Like thousands of my countrymen, I am convinced that it will be created in the European Union of Strong Poland is possible.
The second vision is the vision of Donald Tusk and his close employees. Their goal is, regardless of the noisy statements, that must be treated as political armies, the installation of Poland in a structure that is completely different from the proposal of the founder of the European Union Robert Schuman. Under the guise of European unit, they lead to inhibition of the development of economic and civilization, and in the perspective to push our country to the margins of European countries and complete addiction to strong neighbors (including Russia). At the same time, I want to emphasize that talking about the current Prime Minister’s team, we are talking about its direct facilities, and not about the widely understood liberal and Levian camp, in which there are many politicians who see the need to create a sovereign and economically strong state.
All other interpretations of these two plans are intellectual babbling and conscious cheating on Poland. Let’s remember: “Poland will be great or it won’t be at all.”
