Listening to Dworczyk’s immunity took place in the EP. PIS MEP: I presented a situation with regard to the circumstances of the Hacker attack

In the Legal Committee (Juri) of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, a hearing took place with regard to the withdrawal of Mep Michał Dworczyk (PIS). This is the next phase of the procedure of the absurd procedure, initiated by Adam Bodnar, who will end with voting at the plenary session of the institution. The case is related to the burglary of the piss Mep -e -Mailinbox.

Dworczyk told reporters after leaving the hearing that it took less than 20 minutes.

I presented the whole situation with regard to the circumstances of the hacking attack on the boxes of Polish politicians, including mine. I can’t talk about the details because the meeting takes place in camera mode (behind closed doors – porridge)

He also said that the prosecutor -general Adam Bodnar, in his opinion -, referring to the PE to withdraw his immunity, was led by political motives.

I am convinced of this, because as I said, I had the status of an injured person for a few years and I am still the most interested in finding Polish politicians

– He said.

The case was commented in an interview with journalists, Mep Michał Wawrykiewicz (KO), who participated in the committee meeting.

The fact that the request of the public prosecutor is politically motivated is crucial for the decision of the committee (Legal PE) and then parliament during a plenary meeting

He noticed.

Asked whether the conclusion in the case of Dworczyk is politically motivated, he replied that the regulations oblige him not to speak before the end of the procedure.

The procedure is being treated in camera, ie behind closed doors, and I should not reveal the details. However (…) we see the application. The application concerns the procedure of the public prosecutor in the context of obstructing procedures, so that E -mails are removed so that the office of the public prosecutor cannot include them in the evidence. It probably speaks for itself in an objective way, what nature is this behavior

– said Mep Ko.

Bodnar’s absurd conclusion

Public Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar At the end of August 2024, an absurd request sent to the EP to withdraw immunity to Dworczyk in connection with accusations of the participation of a politician in the SO -Called Mail Scandal -it is even about hackers in Hack the inbox of the current PIS -Map. After reading the application during the PE -plenary meeting, his boss Robert Metsool referred the business to Juri.

The committee considers a total of six applications from Poland. Five worries piss meps and outside Dworczyk are: Adam Bielan, Mariusz Kamiński, Maciej Wąsik and Daniel Obajtek. Juri is also about the application to withdraw the immunity of Grzegorz Braun, which is a non -sturdy MEP.

According to the regulations, the interested party can appear in the hearing to present his arguments. Dworczyk was invited to hear the committee on January 23. He could not participate in the meeting, so Juri invited him again on February 13.

The committee will then prepare a report that will be submitted to the vote. In the last step, the entire room votes during a plenary meeting.
