The head of the Romanian government, Marcel Ciolacu, invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Bucharest, despite the arrest warrant of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Çolaku stated this on his page on the social network X.
According to him, Romania and Israel have a strategically important relationship, so solidarity is part of the “bilateral bond”. Ciolaku noted that both states will continue their joint efforts to strengthen peace and security and will implement various projects in the field of economy and security. The Prime Minister said that Netanyahu will come to Bucharest for the joint meeting of the Romanian and Israeli cabinet of ministers.
