Inauguration of the Ukrainian House
On January 21, the president will participate in the inauguration of the Ukrainian House. The exhibition “Your country first, win with us” will be held there, with works by Ukrainian and international artists. The discussion program will focus on the geopolitical – including global – implications of the war in Ukraine.
Mieszko Pawlak noted that the Ukrainian House has been attracting leaders for years. He recalled that last year during a similar event, a bilateral meeting took place between President Duda and Volodymyr Zelensky. This year – as the presidential minister noted – there are many indications that the Ukrainian leader will not attend the inauguration.
When asked about a possible meeting of Presidents Duda and Zelenskiy in Davos, Pawlak said it “depends on the agendas of both presidents.”
Because on January 15 they had a long talk in the Belweder Palace and the subject of meeting in Davos also came up – but quite spontaneously. We have had quite long talks between both leaders, and soon we can expect President Zelensky’s visit to Poland again.

He said the President will participate in an informal meeting of world business leaders (IGWEL) on January 22, also with the participation of world political leaders, including: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Mieszko Pawlak noted that the President has also planned many other formal and informal meetings in Davos in various formats with political leaders, representatives of global business and the media.
The minister emphasized that the president himself would inform about these meetings.
When asked about possible meetings with representatives of the new US administration, Mieszko Pawlak noted that the situation was unusual due to the simultaneous inauguration of Donald Trump’s presidency in the US.
There will be no Polish House
The presidential minister announced that neither the Polish House nor the Three Seas House will be active during this year’s forum. He called it a “sad thing.”
This year, more eyes are on Poland – we have the presidency and summit of the Three Seas Initiative, and at the same time, our country’s promotion scale in Davos this year will be significantly smaller than in previous years
