After Warsaw and Gdynia, Krakow has an ombudsman for student rights. During the parliamentary inspection, Łukasz Kmita from PiS checked how the municipality selected Aleksandra Twaróg for this position from 8 candidates. “The procedure for appointing the student ombudsman in Krakow is flawed and Ms. Aleksandra Twaróg cannot serve as ombudsman,” MP Kmita said after the inspection at Krakow City Hall. In a post on social media, he pointed out the poor result of the Twaróg test.
Aleksandra Twaróg graduated from the 21st high school in Krakow and has just started her studies. He has known the current president of Krakow, Aleksander Miszalski, for a long time. She became the face of his campaign in the local government elections, in which Miszalski promised to create the position of Krakow Ombudsman for Students and School Dialogue. Is Twaróg’s election to this position the result of a city hall contest, or rather a political repayment of a debt? PiS MP Łukasz Kmita sought the answer to this question at Krakow City Hall. This wouldn’t be Miszalski’s first controversial nomination.

Politically correct
Officially, the Student Rights Ombudsman is responsible for the safety of children and young people and the dissemination of knowledge about student rights, their violations and cases of discrimination. In order to implement these types of penalties, the spokesperson must of course have the correct preparation and knowledge. Krakow City Hall has decided to organize a competition for this position. It was won by Aleksandra Twaróg.
After conducting a parliamentary inspection, PiS MP Łukasz Kmita believes that Twaróg performed the worst in the tests and does not meet the requirements of the Law on Local Government Employees.
Moreover, according to Kmita, Twaróg completely disqualifies her pro-abortion views.
The person who is actually supposed to ensure the safety of children is also in favor of the murder of unborn children. We do not deny the creation of the position of the Krakow Ombudsman for Students, but the selection of a person who does not guarantee impartiality and did not obtain the best result in the qualification test (Aleksandra Twaróg obtained 80%) is questionable. There are other candidates who achieved, for example, 96 percent
– said the former voivode of Lesser Poland, who posted a message about the issue on the X platform.
Scandal in Krakow! Krakow’s new “advocate” for student rights, abortion activist Aleksandra Twarów, wrote the worst in the test prepared by the City Hall, but she is a friend of Aleksander Miszalski and worked in the city of Krakow
– wrote PiS MP Łukasz Kmita.
Aleksandra Twaróg was the deputy head of the Kraków Youth Council during the 10th term.
