She was suspended, her stamp and bags were confiscated and she was ordered to return her robes! This is how Bodnar’s usurpers treated prosecutor Iwona Tryfon-Wilkoszewska of the Warsaw-Praga District Prosecutor’s Office Północ. And all because it undermined the status of the new superiors, who were appointed in flagrant violation of the law after the bandits removed Dariusz Barski, the legal national prosecutor, from office. Mass purges took place in the prosecutor’s office in mid-January, but many investigators still directly or indirectly opposed the illegal leadership of the prosecutor’s office. Can we afford to get rid of professional prosecutors when crime is rampant in Warsaw’s Praga district and a police officer was murdered there this weekend?

Already in May, the portal informed about the start of official proceedings against prosecutor Tryfon-Wilkoszewska.
The prosecutor is not one to insist on glass. She has never spoken out in the political debate surrounding the National Public Prosecutor’s Office, which has been taking place in public space since January 12, that is, since its illegal takeover by Adam Bodnar and Jacek Bilewicz, and then by Dariusz Korneluk. However, heavy official and media artillery was used against her. First, “someone” reported her to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, who described Tryfon-Wilkoszewska’s “insubordination”. Then the official procedure began. We determined that it happened on May 15th. It involves, as ‘GW’ reported, the refusal to ‘allow the superior access to files for inspection and to question the orders of the superiors.

In the meantime, disciplinary charges were already pending against the steadfast researcher from Praga-Północ in Warsaw in mid-November. Iwona Tryfon-Wilkoszewska rightly argued in her correspondence of November 21 that the appointment of Prosecutor Joanna Szczęśniak as District Prosecutor for Warsaw-Praga Północ was contrary to the regulations. The only person who could have done this is prosecutor Dariusz Barski. On September 27, the Supreme Court confirmed this in a resounding resolution on the subject, and last week this was clearly confirmed by the Constitutional Court.
Journalism instead of justification
It is worth paying attention to the “justification” of the decision to suspend Iwona Tryfon-Wilkoszewska. This is pure journalism, known from the ‘elaborations’ of the extremely politicized association ‘Lex Super Omnia’, which today actually controls the public prosecutor’s office. The document bears the signature of Prosecutor Małgorzata Adamajtys, a person claiming to be the Regional Prosecutor in Warsaw. Excerpts of the decision obtained by the wPolityce.pl portal show that the suspension of the professional prosecutor is intended to “protect the public interest and the authority of the Public Prosecution Service from harm” that would result from the work of Ms. Tryfon- Wilkoszewska.
We are dealing with lese majeste again
– admits lawyer Krzysztof Wąsowski, one of the defenders of prosecutor Iwona Tryfon-Wilkoszewska.
The prosecutor’s stamp was revoked, she was ordered to return her gown and she has been suspended until the case is resolved by the disciplinary board. We are dealing with revenge from the current leadership of the Public Prosecution Service. It’s also about intimidation. They see that there is a rebellion at the prosecutor’s office. It is not about political activities or within specific associations. We see a desperate attempt to maintain their positions
– emphasized Wąsowski.
Can the Warsaw Prosecutor’s Office afford to lose a well-known and professional prosecutor in the context of rampant crime in the capital Praga? These are good questions for the prosecutor: Joanna Szczęśniak, head of the Warsaw-Praga Północ District Prosecutor’s Office, and her deputy Monika Szewczuk. Our informants claim that both women are responsible for the terrible working atmosphere at the Prague prosecutor’s office. The researchers, who requested anonymity, also emphasize that the “blacklists” include even more names of independent prosecutors from various public prosecutor’s offices who are fed up with the terror prevailing in the public prosecutor’s office.
