“Poles deserve to live in an even safer state,” Minister Zbigniew Ziobro said in the “Guest of News” program.
The Minister of Justice referred to the opposition of the Senate to tighten the sentences for the most dangerous criminals.
I am sorry to see that the Civic Platform, the PSL, Mr Hołownia’s movement and the left are again on the side of defending criminals. Because it involves tougher sentences for this most dangerous of the most dangerous criminals. (…) We want the perpetrators of rape with particular cruelty to be assured of higher penalties. Today is fifteen, and this is a terrible crime. We want it to be a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. We propose solutions that affect the mafia, organized crime groups. (…) Poles deserve to live in an even safer country
– said Zbigniew Ziobro.
I’m amazed that the Platform is once again on the side of those who voluntarily vote for PO, because in the highest security prisons they achieve absolute record results
– added.
He also commented on the introduction of provisions that would remove some of the privileges of inmates in prisons.
For a long time political circles – the Platform and others – have succumbed to the ideology that prisons should be like sanatoriums, and prisoners are not snorkelers and dangerous criminals, but patients. That is why we are taking away some of the privileges that the perpetrators of the crimes have received
– he said.
The justice minister recalled that thanks to the changes his ministry has introduced, the vast majority of detainees are working while serving their sentences.
Because of this they pay compensation, alimony and everyone benefits from that
Ziobro assured him.
He also spoke about the increasing level of security in Poland.
Our government blocked the entry of immigrants from Arab countries, who are a huge surprise with crime and terrorism in western countries. Many people consider Poland a safe country
– He said.
Frasyniuk’s words
Zbigniew Ziobro referred to the court’s decision regarding Władysław Frasyniuk’s shameful words.
The soldiers of the Polish army should not be accused or insulted because it is a disgrace. Calling any man “garbage”, “dog”, and this was what Frasyniuk did with regard to Polish soldiers who faced Putin’s provocation, because Lukashenka was conducting an operation in preparation for an attack on Ukraine. To call Polish soldiers that (…) is extremely disgusting and shameful. The court must respond
– He said.
With the support of the mainstream medium, it benefits Polish soldiers. (…) What is the strength of Ukraine? The patriotism of Ukrainian soldiers. (…) Should we suppress the patriotism of Polish soldiers and arouse contempt for them?
– asked the head of the Ministry of Justice.
