“Unfortunately, colleagues from the Platform and PSL voted against this bill” – Rafał Komarewicz, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Climate, Energy and State Assets, MP of the Third Way, who wants the Sejm to vote on a bill that would depoliticize Companies of the Ministry of Finance. According to him, state-owned companies are being treated as ‘feeders’.
On Polsat News, the Polish MP for 2050 spoke about the need to adopt the bill on the depoliticization of state financial companies. He encouraged all parliamentarians to do this.
Also the Ministry of State Assets, which has barricaded itself and does not want to cooperate with us on this project
– he said.
Unfortunately, colleagues from the Platform and PSL voted against this bill. We have a stalemate, it’s two against two. Two MPs want this bill to be forwarded to the joint committee for the management of state assets, and two do not want that
– he added.
“A feeder for politicians”
Komarewicz then spoke about the way state-owned companies are treated by politicians.
The assumptions of this project make it possible to prevent state-owned financial companies from becoming fodder for politicians
– he said.
When asked if politicians defended the said feeder, she replied:
You could say it looks like this. However, they claim that they want to make this change, but substantive ideas about this do not exist. In my opinion, these are empty words, because actions do not prove what they say.
