“I have stated before that many countries want full membership. “This issue will be addressed next year,” the diplomat said.
He also stated that currently more than 30 states want to participate in BRICS events. Additionally, more than ten countries benefit from the general support of union members as potential partners. They received the necessary invitations.
“We have an agreement that as soon as we receive a response from the invited country, it will be announced that this state has joined BRICS as a partner country. We proceed from the fact that they will have the opportunity to participate in all BRICS events,” Lavrov said.
