Everything indicates that the hero of the new season of the Coalition series from December 13 entitled “Get PiS” will be Antoni Macierewicz. Last week the Ministry of National Defense presented a report on the work of the Smolensk Subcommittee, which Macierewicz created during the Law and Justice government, and yesterday General Jarosław Stróżyk attacked the PiS politician and presented the report of the neo committee to investigate. Russian influence. “Many more Russians came to me, both to the Ministry of Defense and to my parliamentary office, and brought evidence proving Russian crime,” the former chairman of the Smolensk subcommittee said in an interview with Radio Wnet. Macierewicz also interpreted the activities of the committee and General Stróżyk himself in a rather ironic and perverse way.
During the presentation of the mini-report on the work of the new commission to investigate Russian influence, General Jarosław Stróżyk stated that he “would recommend submitting a notification to the prosecutor’s office in the case of Antoni Macierewicz on the basis of the provision on diplomatic treason.”
The former head of the Ministry of National Defense was asked about this issue in an interview with Krzysztof Skowroński on Radio Wnet.
I’m very interested in this and somehow I think this general’s actions have a deeper meaning. I think that, knowing that he is lying and cheating, that this is disinformation, he wants us to go back to that time and analyze our actions, including mine in 2015-2018, rebuilding the armed forces of the Polish Army and above all: to achieve something that was in a sense a miracle and that I am still fascinated by to this day: that we managed to create an alliance with the United States

So that the United States will keep its military in Poland at all times when we need it. And the same applied to NATO at the time. And the Civic Platform did everything it could to prevent the NATO summit in July 2016. I think that in his very incompetent formulations the general was aware that he was talking nonsense, but he returned to that time and showed what a great achievement Law and Justice was in guaranteeing the security of Poland. And it must also be said that the president has made a huge difference here

Stróżyk “works for… PiS”?
When asked where the accusation of ‘diplomatic betrayal’ came from, the former minister said:
General Stróżyk is a man of the secret services, he was in the WSI, etc. Therefore, he carries out various operations that it is impossible to know directly, but the effects are such that we can really say what happened then, at that moment, has happened.
It sounds a bit like General Stróżyk worked for Law and Justice, but maybe that’s not the case?

Or maybe? Or maybe he’s doing this to take the media back to that time, to see what the change in the strength of the military was then, what Law and Justice did, what the president did. I managed to do something in increasing the number of troops, cooperation with the United States and NATO, creating the Territorial Defense Force, creating the shield that defended and continues to defend us against Russian aggression. Many things were then accomplished through Law and Justice. Young people don’t remember it, but he revived it and thanks to that people will talk about it, the media will talk about it. The special services undertake activities where people do not know what the goal is, but they achieve it

Similarly, the former chairman of the Smolensk Subcommittee commented on the report on the work of this body, which was recently presented by the Ministry of National Defense.
Kosiniak-Kamysz also did something very interesting. Really very interesting. There he created a material of almost 800 pages, which contains an incredible amount of lies, nonsense and disinformation, and at the same time he says that his entire team did not investigate the Smolensk drama. And if they did not investigate the Smolensk tragedy, how can they say that there was no Smolensk crime and that there was no responsibility on Mr Putin?

If they didn’t investigate it and considered themselves incompetent – and they really were, that much is clear – then it’s impossible to formulate an opinion about it. Unacceptable

In response to editor Skowroński’s comment that the Ministry of National Defense had announced that it would submit forty applications to the prosecutor’s office against Antoni Macierewicz, the politician clarified:

There are some really interesting things in there. For example, there are a dozen pages trying to prove that my creation of the subcommittee investigating the drama that unfolded in 2010 was illegal. And at the end of these twelve or so pages is a statement that it was legal and will remain so if the Constitutional Tribunal does not question it.

He then pointed out that a similar situation occurred in the case of the part of the report where the team tried to prove the incompetence of the members of the Smolensk subcommittee.
And in the end it is written that they cannot make a final decision about it because they do not have sufficient knowledge. Great way to communicate, right?

There are many interesting points in this report for people who are pro-Russian. However, if you look at it more closely, you can see that these people are aware that it is all a lie and that Donald Tusk’s responsibility is actually the root of our national security problem.

The former head of the Ministry of Defense also commented on the suggestion that he had been in contact with a Russian whose real identity he did not know.

This is now done with this man. It is truly a crime and it is simply unacceptable that his name is made public on the Russian side of a man who has provided evidence of a crime and a Russian crime.
