The resignation of the Deputy Minister of Development and Technology, Jacek Tomczak, regarding his alleged ties to the development industry does not seem to exhaust the topic. Here, MP Konrad Berkowicz and Dr Jan Śpiewak point out that leading PSL politicians jointly sit on the Development Foundation, responsible for housing policy and construction.
Shocking information was revealed in the media about the Deputy Minister of Development and Technology, Jacek Tomczak of the PSL club. This is about the many years that his law firm has worked for development companies. Some of them will participate in the consultation on the ‘Kredyt na start’ program, which Tomczak is also fighting for its introduction.
Tomczak himself stated in his wealth declarations that his total income from running the law firm since 2019 amounted to PLN 330,500, which translated into an income of PLN 9,325. It is worth noting that in 2019 alone, revenues amounted to PLN 303,655. According to the statements, in 2020 the politician earned PLN 760 from his office, in 2021 PLN 1,432.60 and in 2022 PLN 2,536.95.
The politician, a member of the parliamentary club PSL, is known as a strong supporter of the ‘Start Loan’. For example, he argued that if someone is against this program, they are “opposed to supporting families.”
Szymon Jadczak pointed out that, even more scandalous, the politician works as a law firm with developers, who then participate in consultations on the bill he is preparing.

PSL’s big problem?
The case of former Deputy Minister Tomczak led to highly critical comments across the political spectrum, from the Confederation to the Razem Party. It turns out that the harmful conflict of interest occurs not only with regard to Jacek Tomczak himself, but also with other peasant members, including… Deputy Prime Minister and leader of PSL Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, as Confederation MP Konrad Berkowicz announced. on social media.
Did you know that Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and others are members of the Board of Trustees of the Development Foundation, which owns more than 50% of the shares in the following development companies? If not, you already know. Strange coincidence, isn’t it? 🙂

I will not allow the issue of the tram to Wilanów in Warsaw to obscure this scandal. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and others are members of the Board of Trustees of the Development Foundation, which owns MORE than 50% of the shares in the following development companies. A strange coincidence, especially because this is his environment and he himself lobbies hard for 0 and 2% loans

Bipartisan outrage
Dr. Jan Śpiewak, an activist and creator of the concept of “patho-development”, Dr. Jan Śpiewak, commented on the scandalous situation in the government’s housing policy and the controversial ties between developers and politicians.

According to him, this is not the first situation of this nature that shows the connections between PSL politicians and developers. Like Berkowicz, Śpiewak pointed to the Development Foundation, which houses the People’s Party’s political leaders, including Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Krzysztof Paszyk. The Development Foundation is involved in the real estate market and construction work.
It would be best if someone else would deal with the housing issue. I would rather see people from Poland 2050 or the left here than politicians with a suspected conflict of interest.
– said Dr. Jan Śpiewak in Wirtualna Polska.
