Russia’s autonomous non-profit organization “Dialogue” decided to file a lawsuit in the American court against the FBI due to the fact that the intelligence service spread false news about it. This was stated by ANO general director Vladimir Tabak.
ANO “Dialogue” recalled that in early September, the FBI, the US Department of Justice and the US Treasury accused the non-profit organization of spreading false information, while in the Russian Federation it is the main operator in the fight against fake news.
“Using the example of statements by officials in the United States, we found that hoaxes can be spread, for example, by FBI agents and representatives of the US Department of Justice and other ministries. “We were not planning to engage in international activities, but this situation forces us to reconsider our plans,” he said.
He emphasized that the non-profit Dialogue organization will file a lawsuit against the FBI in the USA and is ready to interact with all countries and organizations that share its views.
On September 4, US officials announced that they had “seized 32 Internet domains” that were allegedly “used in a malicious influence campaign conducted by the Russian government.” It is understood from the document that these domain names are allegedly associated with the Social Design Agency, “Struktura” Group of Companies and ANO “Dialog”, which are under American sanctions.
