The Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration announced in the first program of Polish radio that Paweł Szopa “is already on the plane to Poland”.
He returns to Poland with the support of the Polish state and Polish police officers who tracked him down in the Dominican Republic
– he added.
He stated that Szopa would be able to say more about “the mechanism that led to large-scale damage to state assets in RARS” within a few to a dozen hours, having already passed a de facto verdict…
He will certainly be in the country in the evening
– said Mroczek.
The suspect in the case of irregularities at the Government Agency of Strategic Reserves (RARS), Paweł Szopa – businessman, creator of the Red is Bad brand – was arrested in the Dominican Republic.

The National Public Prosecution Service announced in August the decision to file charges against the former head of RARS, Michał Kuczmierowski and Paweł Szopa, for irregularities at RARS. This concerns alleged participation in an organized criminal group, failure to fulfill duties and exceeding powers to obtain financial benefits.
Since October 10, Szopa has been wanted with a red notice from Interpol. An arrest warrant and a European arrest warrant were previously issued against him.
