Defense ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) countries once again expressed their alarm regarding Russia’s military cooperation with China, North Korea and Iran. “China supports Russia’s illegal actions in Ukraine, which pose serious security threats, and is also strengthening the military partnership between the two states,” the document states.
The G7 is also concerned about the Russian Federation’s increasing military cooperation with North Korea and Iran; Russia allegedly acquired ballistic missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as military equipment and technologies that helped circumvent the sanctions regime.
