A left-wing activist tried to prevent Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s speech in the European Parliament. The newspaper writes about this Hungarian Nemzet (MN) citing video footage of the incident.
According to the publication, during Orban’s speech, Marton Gekicki, a member of the youth wing of the Hungarian Democratic Coalition Party, ran into the conference hall.
“The activist asked Viktor Orbán how much money he received from Putin and Jinping for betraying Hungary and the European Union,” the news report states.
The attacker, who went to see the Hungarian Prime Minister, was detained by security guards.
Taking a short break from his speech, Orban continued his speech, which lasted one and a half hours, after waiting for the activist to be removed from the hall.
