“The essence of legal regulations has been questioned,” President Jarosław Kaczyński said in a special interview on wPolsce24 television. The Law and Justice leader referred to the accusations from the ruling camp that appeared after the publication of an interview with him in the weekly magazine ‘Sieci’.
Jarosław Kaczyński explained what actions his political camp plans to take after a possible takeover in Poland.
First, the law must be restored in Poland. The principle of the validity of the law itself, because it was simply undermined. The essence of legal regulation has been questioned. And secondly, we must create such guarantees that in the future it will not be so easy. Because today they won the elections not alone, but in a coalition, which is not necessarily coherent, and they are simply using the existing state apparatus for this kind of activity. It can’t be like that. This constitution has failed. These legal structures have failed
– explained the President of Law and Justice.
Elite consciousness
The leader of the United Right camp also spoke about the problem of the lack of appropriate awareness on the left-liberal side of the political conflict in Poland.
Something that is extremely important for the functioning of a law-abiding and democratic system has also failed, namely the kind of consciousness of the social and political elites that makes it impossible to take this kind of action. Such consciousness exists, but only on the right side. As it turns out, there is apparently no such awareness among broadly understood leftists or left-liberals. Instead, there is a desire for a political monopoly, for the creation of a system without alternatives. This means that in fact only one political direction, broadly understood, has the right to govern, and the other has no right
– said Jarosław Kaczyński.
